Guardrails are enforced, not merely prompted. A banned word cannot slip through because the model "forgot", it is stripped from research data on the way in and filtered from the rendered body on the way out.
Forbidden lists
- Banned competitors, names filtered out of research data, prompts, and the rendered body, so a competitor never gets a free mention in your own content. Add one at a time, or paste a comma-separated list to add many at once.
- Banned phrases, words or phrases the writer must never use, common picks are negative or off-brand adjectives such as "outdated", "cheap", or "defeat".
- Keyword blocklist, terms that should never be bolded from the term map, even if they technically match a tracked keyword.
Required content
- Required disclaimers, sentences the writer must include wherever contextually appropriate, legal, medical, or compliance language an article cannot ship without.
- Word substitutions, paired find/replace rules, avoid one word and use another instead, useful for regional spelling, preferred product names, or house style.
Key things to know
- Guardrails apply everywhere. Research, drafting, and the final rendered page all respect the same lists, there is no step where a banned word can leak through.
- Paste to bulk-add. Every list field accepts a comma-separated paste, no need to add banned phrases one at a time.
- Empty is fine. An empty list means no restriction, Builder does not require any of these to be filled in before generating.
